Carly Feist

I am a sophomore studying Biology on the Pre-Med track. I am an executive board member of TableTalk, a club that creates and hosts events designed to promote diverse dialogue across campus, and the Reform Jewish Community. Additionally, I am part of the Pens Lens SI2 committee, which uses photography to highlight social issues of West Philly and I volunteer at CUT Hypertension, a free clinic in West Philly that gives free blood pressure screenings and lifestyle counseling to promote awareness of high blood pressure. ISP has been the foundation of my Penn education. The integrative skills I learned throughout the program have helped me become a more critical thinker and articulate writer. ISP showed me that I do not have to compromise any of my diverse academic interests. I love science and plan on pursuing medicine but I also love the humanities and BFS allow me to explore all my interests through diverse seminars.
