I am a member of the Class of 2024 in the College from Canada, majoring in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. At Penn, I am a Perry World House Student Fellow, a Project Lead for Wharton Global Research and Consulting and have also been involved in the DP as a General Assignments Reporter, Penn Moot Court and served as a research intern for the Think Tank and Civil Societies Program.

I greatly value my time in ISP, as it provided me the interdisciplinary and intellectual environment that allowed me to foster my love for learning away from Penn’s largely pre-professional culture. From reading Plato and the Iliad to learning about theories of happiness and despair, I was introduced to so many new ideas that I never would have been confronted with if I wasn’t part of this program. Being a part of the ISP community was definitely a defining aspect of my freshman year and has guided my interests in philosophy, politics and literature that have shaped my present academic pursuits. Beyond the subject matter, ISP has given me such a strong community at Penn, including my roommate and some of my closest friends. I definitely would recommend ISP to any incoming Penn students looking to be intellectually stimulated in an environment that encourages inquiry and exploration!
