The ISP Experience

The Integrated Studies Program (ISP) is the first-year curriculum for Benjamin Franklin Scholars pursuing degrees in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Because the ISP curriculum fulfills 3 of the 7 general education requirements in the college, as an ISP student you will be well-prepared and positioned to launch into your chosen course of study by your sophomore year.  Your training will begin with a strong, shared curriculum molded by theoretical and methodological approaches that broaden your horizons, encourage the crossing of boundaries and the integration of diverse forms of knowledge. Additionally, you will be bolstered by the camaraderie of your fellow ISP cohort as you work your way through Penn and beyond.
